Avoid The Peeling Skin Now!

Mainly peeling skin may be a short-term problem and one should avoid worrying an excessive amount of concerning it.

Several a times peeling skin could be a symptom indicating different skin problems. Some of the common causes of skin peeling are

• Serious perspiration thanks to tight gloves or boots

• Ichthyosis - A rare disease caused mainly because of dryness, the ensuing roughness leads to scaly fish-like skin.

• Kawasaki disease - Found mainly in infants and young children. It’s characterised by rash and swelling of the hands.

• Scarlet fever - While it causes strep throat problems, it additionally causes rashes over the upper body which spreads the entire body.

• Burns is another major cause of skin peeling.

• Another cause is Peeling Skin Syndrome or Skin Peeling Syndrome. A rare genetic disorder that causes continuous skin peeling. It may also cause redness of the skin

(erythema) and itching (pruritus). It’s been divided into 2 categories- Non-inflammatory Kind A and Inflammatory Kind B category.

- Basic Measures to Prevent Peeling Skin

• Avoid scratching the peeling skin because it will worsen matters if you’re tormented by diseases like eczema or psoriasis.

• Rather than pulling the peeled skin, use scissors.

• Moisturize your skin by using sensible moisturizing cream or lotion to appease your skin.

• Drink lots of water and remain hydrated.

• If you’re out and regarding, use sunscreen at regular intervals.

Pat, dry your skin rather than rubbing.

• Use mild soaps instead of strong and harsh soaps.

• If you’re having a hot bath, limit some time, as hot water drains the skin of its natural oils. Warms baths are milder and causes less injury to

your skin.
