So found this post on a local board I visit about a new V8 going to be put into the Acura RL to compete with the other brands.

Here’s the quoted text:

Acura has scoffed at the idea of adding a V8 to its lineup for years, but it looks like things are finally changing.

Honda’s CEO Takeo Fukui has confirmed that Honda is finally going to launch its first V8 engine for the Acura brand. Although gas prices have killed vehicles that don’t get great gas mileage, luxury buyers still demand it. Acura’s sales are down 15.3 percent so far this year, so Acura needs something to bring in new buyers.

“I don’t think that the Acura RL 3.7-liter is sufficient. We can’t compete with other premium brands,” said Fukui.

I love it. Raw power in an Acura! (or Honda for you JDM’ers). Oh and it will be rear wheel drive

Driving without a license!

Well the case has been dismissed due to the jury being deadlocked with a 10-2 in favor of Spears.

So the argument was she’s from Louisiana, not from Cali so she should be let off. Was she really going to be convicted? I know Paris went to prison for something similar, but I didn’t think she’d be convicted. And sure enough deadlock.

Oh well life goes on…

Seems zac efron, vanessa hudgens, ashley tisdale and cast are out again with this.

I know I won’t be watching this, but will you be taking your littles ones to see this?

Here is the synopsis from tribute:

“Disney’s “High School Musical” phenomenon leaps onto the big screen in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which finds high school seniors Troy (Zac Efron) and Gabriella (Vanessa Hudgens) facing the prospect of being separated from one another as they head off in different directions to college. Joined by the rest of the Wildcats, they stage an elaborate spring musical reflecting their experiences, hopes and fears about their future. With incredible new music and exciting dance numbers designed to take maximum advantage of the big screen, this motion picture extravaganza delivers plenty of high-energy entertainment from East High’s talented ensemble. ”

Leave a comment if you liked it or not after watching.

On my trip to New York over the long weekend a few weeks back, I was able to see the iPhone in person at the Mac store on 5th avenue. A cool device with a wow factor to get many people interested, but way too much hype. I personally tried the keyboard and am able to type much quicker on my blackberry. Maybe I’m biased, but actual keys just make more sense to me.

But this isn’t another post going over the iPhone launch. Google it and you’ll find hundreds upon hundreds of opinions on the original iPhone that came out, including how the Hackers have gotten into the system of the iPhone. What new news do I hear now? The iPod Nano may later cease to exist or have a bigger brother, the iPhone Nano.

The price talked about for such a piece? $300. Can you imagine what they will cut out from the regular iPhone to package it into the smaller iPod Nano. I’m sure with that wifi will be gone and the whole hype of the iPhone. But who am I to judge? Steve has his marketing experts working on creating yet another whirlwind of buzz. Heck, even I am writing about it.

What might the iPhone Nano look like? I came up with a little photoshopped image combining the current iPhone screen and button into the also existing iPod Nano. Will it look like my photoshop above?

Who knows?

This is just a guess, but really Apple will be able to make anything even if it is lackluster in the end and still sell huge quantities of product. I don’t see why they would even take effort making it look like my photoshop. It can look much worse and still sell.

To this I bid adieu. We will see how mac can market another product to an insane amount of hype!

Chevrolet concept, the Chevy Beat, was introduced at the Auto Shows this past year. With a nice hue of green and a micro compact look, Chevy would definately catch a lot of attention with this car.

This car looks modified from the Factory to be a super hot compact rolling down the streets. Now I am not normally impressed by the likings of Chevy and their products, but this one definately caught my eye and would be one I would look into purchasing as a fun little car. Imagine a modified engine thrown into this little car. It would definately have the looks and the get go. Even from the factory it looks good with Green accents throughout the car.

The 17 inch wheels make the Chevy beat stand out and color matched calipers are an interesting touch.

The concept sported a 1.2-litre engine. Now that’s Tiny! But wait… it’s turbocharged. Ahem thats a nice added bonus as a 1.2 litre engine would be super slow without some kind of boost. The facts state it will be only put with an automatic, but one can only imagine a 5 speed transmission bringing every last bit of power out from the car. I’m sure if they want to capture the tuner crowd, they will throw in a 5 speed as gearheads love the ability to control their gears. Plus for small engine cars, manuals are just better suited for the application.

Everyone hears their alarm clock and presses Snooze many many times before getting up. I do it every morning It takes about three snooze button presses before I wake up.

Think Geek has come up with a Flying Alarm Clock that will help get you away from that easy button of hitting Snooze. Now you have to get up, find the flying alarm clock piece and attach to hit snooze. By that time? Your going to be up! Then of course I’m sure we will hear of someone who got one of these and smashed the alarm clock to turn it off instead of finding the flying alarm clock piece

Here is the official Think Geek video from YouTube showing the whole flying alarm clock in action. Look at how Mr. lazy has to get up and move to Snooze.
